I now imagine "grandma's house" is code for for a secret resistance point; it could be a small forward operating base behind enemy lines or such, which would need resupplying via "picnic baskets."  Gah, I love this idea too much.

Thank you!  According to the plot, "grandmother's house" is the goal of the mission of the "R3" fighter - Little Red Riding Hood. There is a captured resistance base there and... but I hope to finish this someday and release it either as a game or as an art book with a story.
