Free Housing the map Said... — Description

Making his way through the trees, Jeremy caught a flash of red and pink among the greens and browns of the forest. Coming closer to inspect, he realized it was some stumps standing in a clearing that he'd spotted, and looking at the map in his hand this seemed to be what he thought was the location that was marked as "Free Housing."
Coming out from the trees and into the clearing, Jeremy noticed the stumps before him had already noticed him, and were just watching him silently. Jeremy waited a couple seconds longer to see if they'd say anything, but seeing as they didn't look like they would any time soon he took the initiative. Clearing his throat somewhat awkwardly, he opened his mouth to speak.
"Uhm..." He thought a moment on how he should begin his sentence, "A strange staxie gave me directions to this place, said there was free housing?" The stumps before him blinked with a look that told him they didn't know who he was talking about. Behind him he heard the wind rustling the trees, or at least the thought he did.
"He was brown, and bland... Kind of looked like sand..." Jeremy's attempt to describe the weird staxie he'd met earlier in town didn't seem to be helping his situation at all, so he thought he'd try and ask about the houses finally, or where they would be at least, as it seemed this clearing was completely empty of any semblances of homes or any other staxies for that matter.
"Anyways so I w--" A strong blow hit Jeremy's head and his world went black. The last thing he saw was the stumps before him giving a vague look of surprise before he hit the grass, out for the count.

This picture is so overdue it's kind of ridiculous at this point. Way back when I started it I was super motivated to work on it, but then I had to find and switch art apps, and world of other things went on, and then on top of that I just forgot about the whole thing... BUT, It is done now, and I'm ready to try and advance my Jeremy kiddo again!!!
Thank you zedortoo for your unending patience with me, I know you've been working on your other character's plots and doing other stuff, but still, you're awesome, and I hope I didn't bother you too much with how long this took me!
On a different notion, I had a lot of fun finally finishing this picture, it feels really nice to complete these things that have been here for so long, and I think the finish product looks great! I'm also pretty happy with the writing too. I didn't think it would be so fun to do Jeremy stuff again, which is kind of crazy because I enjoyed it so much before, but it's just wow.
