Just a heads up, this comic hasn't got a happy ending, Megamind as a child will be called Syx, and Metro Man as a child will be called Wayne. I didn't make the names, this is just what we use in a fandom where the main characters don't have real names
(And I posted this on Tumblr already under the name megaminds-destiny, follow me there if you want nothing but Megamind posts XD )

Okay, so this is a small comic I started working on after watching the movie again with my mum and her bf. Bf said something that got me ticked off, and that something was that... Um Despicable Me is better than Megamind? Not pleased with that, I decided the only course of action was to make an entire comic for Megamind.

The comic will be purely just about elaborating on Megamind's childhood, and continuing the story of the lonely outcast child who was really just treated horribly. I mean can you believe that they let this child be brought up in the actual prison? Complete with an orange prison jumpsuit, his own cell, handcuffs and a POLICE ESCORT to school? Yeah that doesn't make me happy to say the least.

Basically, I wish people would pay attention and takes some of the things that happened more seriously, because I think the movie has a really great story and characters and message. I think that it's just in Megamind's nature to be optimistic, and he was taught that all the bad things happening to him were either normal, or he had them coming. Which is not true, but you can tell that he believes it because he sugarcoats the whole thing, by saying "it's no big deal" or "clearly it was time to move on" "with time off for good behaviour I was given an opportunity" Like no one ever told him that he was supposed to be sent to school ? Like you're not supposed to have to EARN the right to an education, like a child shouldn't have to earn their way out of a prison sentence they never even !! Ughhhh
Damn these people what were they thinking
But that's what this comic is for. So I don't have to stumble over my words trying to express my displeasure lol. It's much more enjoyable for you guys this way too.
