Description
-21 Layers-From the Episode "Amending Fences" Twilight visits her old home. Originally I called this piece "Nostalgia" because that's what I felt while watching this episode. However Twilight's main feeling is forlorn as she observes the way she used to be and who she left behind in her carelessness.

Love it. I like the centrality of her figure in the composition. Her brighter colours really contrasts her with the shadows surrounding her, and placing the window vaulted with stars behind also draws the eye to the centre of the picture and makes for a beautiful, and desolate feature. I can definitely feel the emotion and her form is stylized, and likewise well drawn and detailed finely. The way in which she is drawn almost makes it seem like she is made out of stained glass herself, and should be part of the window behind. ANTE ASTRA LVCIDA, ECCE VNVM COR ATRVM RESTAT. SIC NVNC SVBIT TEMPESTATEM INTVS. "Before the bright stars, behold one dismal heart remains. So now draws near the storm inside." (made that up, legit latin though)
