Every Child Matters — Description
Matthew 18:10 "See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven."
Mark 10:13-16: And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them.

Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”

Psalm 139:13-16: For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

This is a dedication to the First Nations children who were part of the genocide in Canada, and also those who are still being killed today in the womb. Because all children DO matter, but despite the Canadian Government making this their new slogan, they don't actually believe it.

And that's the irony, isn't it?

Yes, those same Indigenous children who died in the genocide-those same children are still being killed today in the womb. Enough with the hypocrisy Canada. You pretend to care so much about these children you slaughtered while you continue slaughtering the same people, (and other peoples) before they are even born! Frankly I'm not remotely surprised that a government that slaughters 300 unborn children a DAY (with numbers continuing to rise annually) also slaughtered probably hundreds of thousands of Indigenous children in residential schools. You want to show the world you care that "All Children Matter" like you so claim? Then start in the womb; where a child's life first begins.

Yes the Catholic Church was also involved in this, not just the government. 70% of residential schools were run by the Catholic Church at the time. A smaller percentage of residential schools were run by Protestants. However, hear Siouxsan Robinson's take on it:

"Years ago when I first became a believer in Jesus, I remember my mama, a Residential School survivor, screaming at me, calling me a traitor, and asking me why I chose a religion that hurt my people.

The fact is, I didn’t choose a religion . . . I chose a way of life that healed my spirit. The religion I can do without, but I can’t do without Jesus.

Yes, I love Jesus and I love our Native way. I will not deny what I believe in because someone else disapproves. How can I deny a Creator that has been so good to me?

Fast forward 22 years later, my mama loves Jesus and she says, “I wish they introduced us to this real Jesus in those schools. We would have prospered greatly. I have found the real Jesus.”

Many people have tried to make me feel ashamed for my beliefs, but they obviously don’t understand the mystery. If they did, they would understand and know that this doesn’t come from this people or that people. It’s completely spiritual, which connects our souls to the Creator.

I have met Christian and Native Pharisees who have caused more damage through their actions and words. They confuse and divide people with their words of condemnation.

The Creator says you can recognize His people by their fruit, which is love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control."
