"Name the falls after YOU?" Katherine laughed as her porters pushed and twisted Anna's bound body into the barrel, shoving her head out the hole they had carved into the side. "Nonsense! I brought you on this expedition because I needed your father's grant money to fund it all and he refused to give me even one dollar unless I let you tag along. To further your dreams of playing the part of an explorer and seeing Africa. Well, you'll see more than you bargained for my dear. The falls ahead are several stories high, and will be named after ME. The third geological formation to be named after me I might add. What you play at being, I actually am; an explorer (and a great one at that). No pampered brat is going to cheat me out of a spectacular find like this, even if you were the one to stumble across it. I'll compose a nice letter to your father of course explaining how you fell overboard and your body was never found. Ta-ta!"

Anna plead vigorously for release, but it was no use. The porters added some sandbags to the bottom of the barrel to keep it upright in the water, ensuring Anna a spectacular view of the falls as she approached it. Then they carefully lowered the barrel into the water and shoved it away. Carried by the current, it bobbed downstream towards the roaring waterfall. Anna twisted in her bonds frantically as the falls loomed ever closer ...
