Description The Winter Circle & Winter Triangle

The Winter Circle, also known as the winter hexagon/oval is an asterism appearing to be in the form of a hexagon with vertices at Rigel, Aldebaran, Capella, Pollux, Procyon and Sirius. On most locations of the Earth the Winter Circle can be found on the Northern Hemisphere's celestial sphere. Majority of the stars in the Winter Circle are part of six constellations, these are Taurus, Aurgia, Gemeni, Orion, Canis Minor and Canis Major.

The Winter Circle is what the other twenty families that are now a part of Sirius call the original six. Each of these families work for the Winter Circle.

Soon to be expanded upon.

The Winter Triangle.

Smaller and more regularly shaped is the Winter Triangle, made up of Betelgeuse, Sirius and Procyon. These three stars are of the ten brightest objects as viewed from the Earth outside the Solar System.

The Winter Triangle...soon to come.
