Rasputin — Description

His death is quite legendary: he drank three glasses full of poisoned wine and it had almost no effects on him. One of attackers started to shoot at him, one bullet hit him in the chest. Rasputin didn't mind and tried to choke him, then after the attacker pushed him off, Rasputin tried to ran away, but got shot another 2 times. He fell down, but didn't die. To be sure, they smashed his head with a club and threw his body into the river. When police found the body, his right arm was free and lungs were full of water, meaning he was still alive when they threw him into the river.

Also this wasn't first assassination. Two years before his death a peasant woman attempted to assassinate him, stabbing him in the stomach, clearly seeing guts, it looked like fatal injury, however he recovered from it.
