This is one of the over 500 lion sculptures that where painted by artists and sold in favour of a charity organisation ([link] ). The lion is the heraldic animal of Munich since 1808 ([link] ).This one is standing in front of the BR-building in Munich ('Bayerischer Rundfunk', Bavarian Broadcasting)
