I've stroked the fire, seen more pain that you can know
The tears of the broken have washed away my soul
Pushed by desire to change the way my stream will flow
Now I've awoken and I'm taking back control

Lately I've been coming back to a dark era of mine : MLP creepypastas. More especially, the Rainbow factory songs and stories. It's very dark and horribly depicted, basically, it's the story that says how rainbows are created through the sacrifice of "failure pegasi", in a factory ruled by Dr.Atmosphere, WoodenToaster and Rainbow Dash. It was first mentionned by the song "Rainbow Factory" by WoodenToaster, and then, a story was written by Aurora Dawn which amplified the grimdark side of the song... Although WoodenToaster has made another song about it with H8_Seed, telling the story of the latter's pony character working in the factory, but desperatly wanting to escape it. That's what "Awoken" is about, and it also had its own story written.

I loved the design of the character, and also, his twisted feelings and despair. So, I thought it would be great to make another drawing like in the old times ! Next one may be the candy mare, who knows ?
