Commission - The Rareware 64 Trilogy — Description
This was a commission I did for to serve as a title card for the Let's Play series he's going to be starting soon! The version I sent him is much larger, and has a logo/title on it, but I thought this version was more accessible.

I'm about to officially open commissions back up again, so you too could get something like this for pretty cheap!

I'm grateful for the money, but also drawing this took me on a nostalgia trip that I really enjoyed, as well as offering me a chance to do a tribute that I wouldn't have really had an excuse to do otherwise, between work and school and the comic. I used to draw these characters all the time, but I don't really get a chance anymore. Well, the Kongs I haven't drawn since I was like ten, so I had to dig even further back into my past to depict them. I listened to the entire DK64 soundtrack (I do mean every variation of every song in the game - it's on Youtube) and started listening to some guy do a Let's Play of said game in Spanish. Hey, I can understand SOME of it! Oooh, banana dorada!

It was a lot of fun, and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it too! Thanks to Rareware for these amazing adventures - and to Grant Kirkhope for making them come alive with music!
