Birthday Present - Wee Bee for Mom — Description
Yep~ This one is for my mom for her birthday!

Ok, so interesting story with this one. Interesting but short.

I was bored and browsing random amigurumi on google and happened upon an image of this:

My mom saw it and asked me to make her one similar.
I was thinking of just buying it, but...I forgot her birthday was today till literally around 9 pm last night. @.@;

I had to hurriedly make one between my classes from what I could remember. X___X

I think it ended up all right. ^^
It's not exact like in Twistyfishies' creation, but I think it's for the best. @.@; Don't want her fans to get on my case for claiming this as my own. (For the record, I DON'T CLAIM IT AS MY OWN!)

How I tackled this was the same way I tackled the Bun-Buns, though with different legs and antennae instead of ears. XD;

The wings were another story. I was striving more for accuracy, so my fiance, , and I were discussing real wings of bees. We weren't sure if the four wings were fused into two (or at least I wasn't. XD) and we went on this crazy search while I was rushing to finish this little one. @.@

Either way, I'm pleased how this wee bee ended up, but I wonder if I should add the omitted pair of legs if I ever make another bee.

In the end, this is just my take on it. It's not as cute as the original, but my mom can't tell the difference. She's just happy that she got something adorable to brighten her day. :3

Also, I'm planning on trying something a little different from what I've been making. ;3 So keep an eye out for those posts.
