Internecivus Raptus gazella — Description
Internecivus Raptus gazella
--------------------------------------

In the year 2130 much of Africa is populated with large cities. Much of the wild country that had flourished on the dark continent now lay in a few small game reserves. Most large fauna, such as giraffes, elephants, or rhinos now are extinct or are kept only in zoos. Smaller and more adaptable animals, like mongooses, small antelopes, and jackals have done just fine.

Weyland Yutani has a few research stations scattered throughout Africa, the main African headquarters being in Nairobi. However, a 'secret' cargo in one of the boxes in a transport van escaped. The facehugger escaped into the plains, while the van drove on towards the city. A still common resident of East Africa, a Thomson's Gazelle, was the unfortunate victim of the facehugger. Within hours, the gazelle was bursted and came forth a terror that was unmatched by any creature the Earth had seen before.
