Taking a Break — Description
Decided to wait a day to post this one to space them out! Same assignment as these:

Conceptual environment study for a place that the characters may pass through in The Spirit and the Mare. The story is an adventure tale so they'd go through all sorts of places. I like to think where this takes place would be somewhere Mare's herd passed through at some point for resting, which is why she takes Spirit there. Spirit thinks the flowers are delicious!

I wouldn't call this a polished piece but it is definitely quite nice and I'm proud of it. Used various photographs from Pinterest as reference for the overall idea but ultimately winged most of it.
Probably the only thing I wish would be better would be that the depth of the grass should be fairly deep (I imagine it as a heavy meadow that doesn't get frequent grazing, so probably knee-high at least) but I didn't want to obscure the characters too much since they were lying down. So that's a little fudged intentionally but ya know. Would rather it be accurate.

Lines were done with pencil, coloring in Clip Studio.
