I gotta admit I've found myself reading a lot more from DC, Vertigo, Image & a few indie companies than Marvel lately. They're pulling so many stupid moves that are falling flat.

I think the only 1 I really bother with now is Deadpool. I used to go straight to the Marvel books in my local comic store now I find myself going right past it.

if you are looking for more, try valiant! (harbinger, bloodshot, etc) it's really nice and it doesn't feel so...disney

I've just started on Vertigo's Fables. I only have volume 1 right now but once I get paid again I'm gunna try & get some more. I tend to pick up anything that catches my interest as well. It becomes a problem when you go to cons with that mind set though

i think they are trying to replicate the success of spiderman, but it will always fail with established characters or names.
i really liked what they did with nova, but then they somewhat killed richard rider and invented kid nova...and now kid ghost rider.
guess the next thing will be kid iron man or kid captain america
