RADICAL RACER: Why would you race around the world? For Elio the question is why wouldn’t you. Nothing is better than risking your life trying to reach the top, fighting your enemies for the first place; and then, at the end, going back home with the frustration of losing, but the feeling of being still there, still alive, still in the race. The roads are his veins, and he just can’t survive without them. There are no family traditions nor personal reasons after his craving to race: there are just him, his motorbike and a first place to conquer.
TRANSPORTATION: Biocycle are such mysterious creatures. Nobody can even say if they are actually living creatures or something still different. Well, at least one thing is sure: is not an engine that moves these beasts; neither there is anything like a fuel tank or a drain pipe. They always keep moving if someone pilots them; otherwise, they just lay there like a dead, mechanic animals.
The problem is that it's said that once disassembled, a biocycle is never able to work again. Nobody really know if that’s true, but still there hasn’t been anyone who had one and wanted to take the risk.
To be able to ride one of these, you must be just as flexible as the bike itself, or you will end up breaking some bone badly. Even a trained rider like Elio in not able to avoid some painful back aches after a race. Just imagine riding a mechanic, angry, four-legged ostrich while trying to control it! That’s why, when he’s not flirting with someone or showing off his bike, he’s always doing stretching.
When he was a kid, Elio received The Sleipnir from an old uncle that had no idea of what he had in his hands, and have left it taking dust until he knew about his nephew wanting to become a racer. It's name, The Sleipnir, comes from the eight-legged demigod horse of the Nordic mythology, known for being the worlds' most fast creature.
LUCKY CHARM: Elio woudn’t need a photo to remind him of his first race, but he still enjoy looking at his young face covered in patches, while proudly showing an arm in plaster and a crutch under an armpit. Since then, he developed a quite cool protective suit, which includes a sort of uncomfy corset that should avoid his back to easily break.

SPECIAL TRICK: Looking at his bird-legged motorbike, Elio couldn’t think at anything else and decide to give life to the most obvious trick: wings. So, these four spherical boxes contain everything needed to give this landed bird some wings. Well, not actually wings, more membranes only good for planing. This balls work almost like instant tents: hold in a hand, click, and wings are done. Exceeding all of Elio's expectations, The Sleipnir is perfectly able to hold things in its paws, and it never let them go while planing above the ground.
