Then she heard the wolves... — Description
I tried to get to my feet, and felt a sharp pain shoot up my ankle; it was sprained badly, maybe even fractured. I knew that with the sun setting, the orcs would be in their element, and if I just sat here I would be dead by dawn. Gritting my teeth against the pain, I staggered into the tree line. Limping from tree to tree, using anything I could for support, I made my way further down the slope.

Then I heard the wolves.

Can't say I'm surprised. What did surprise me though was some of the criticism I received from the panel of judges, and what it was they were particularly looking for...
