I am still completely broken after this season of House of the Dragon. To be honest, I haven't emotionally recovered at all, and it completely inspired me to create this piece.
Reading that line in George R.R. Martin's book was heartbreaking enough, but seeing his journey and his tragic weight on screen just made it hurts ten times worse. He really was the truest prince and heir. ππ
I wanted to capture that heavy, tragic atmosphere in this artwork. I truly hope I did his character justice.
