Colossa Roc — Description
"Among the archaeological discoveries on the island of Hukurudhoo, now believed to possibly be the long-lost island of Colossa mentioned in the legend of the 7th Voyage of Sinbad the Sailor, has been found an immense and broken slab of eggshell on one of the island's highest points. It's been suggested by some that, if this truly is Colossa, that this is one of the eggshells of the Roc. The gigantic birds were said to nest on the highest peaks of Colossa, bringing back elephants and small whales to feed their young.
In the legend, Sinbad and his men climbed the Collossan peaks to find a shard of Roc eggshell. When they found the Roc nest, however, it contained a single unhatched egg that broke open and freed the infant Roc within. The starving sailors killed the chick, and began to roast it on the spot when its furious mother returned. She killed most of the crew, knocked Sinbad out, and allowed the evil magician Sokurah to escape from the place with the tiny Princess Parisa..."

Reality check: this is the Roc from the 7th Voyage of Sinbad. I do not own the rights, etc etc...
