Description
Faeren and Snoots, slowly waking from hibernation with the return of sunlight and vibrant new growth. A mixed-media experiment with a traditional watercolor base and loose digital painting over it. Spring’s almost here! *so excited*
Watercolor and Photoshop 5.5

I remember some words of Tolkien, but though I don't remember them precisely they ended up in the kind of "The magic of the elves is merely their excelence in their craft, not in spells or incantations." I think it applies here. I'd say this work is elvish magic.

Wasn't Faeren released for a time from the Forest of Illusions in that image "Healer's Touch?"

I have a question, I know you had books for Wars of Avenan at some point and no longer sell them, but were you thinking of turning it into anything else? Like a graphic novel or something like that?

It's just a private, ongoing storyline that I share with a close friend, now. I won't be finishing the series or turning it into anything else public, aside from the artwork. I do have artbooks with character information, world history and illustrations, but that's the extent of the project. Thanks for asking and for your interest!
