If I Only Could... — Description

"Beneath sun-glittered bowers blooms a love both pure and tragic--for he was of the earth and the ancient forest, and she of the sky and the eternal wind that dances ever onward. Though they may dream together, they can touch only once--the gentle caress of a summer breeze through leaves--and afterward be forever parted."
Pencil/mixed-media commission for dear patron Elf, who has been so kind and supported me immeasurably over the years. Their beautiful concept request of foliage and light mingling in a dreamy, bittersweet, fleeting moment between lovers.
Progress from sketch to finished artwork only on my Patreon! Commissions are patron-only, and you will find all my current and past WIPs and art projects there, as well. ^__^
