Author's Notes:
*Remember Sussie's keychain? She got it all the way back on page 48. Now she finally has a use for it.
*I think this was one of the last pages to get drawn for the route 5 arc. Mainly, it's where I lost the steam to sketch traditionally, the script felt wrong and I was feeling lazy about uploading my sketches onto my computer. I ended up just digitally sketching the entire thing anyway. Looking at it, a lot of what was originally there stayed. The Sussie getting a pen section and Alex planning revenge bits were expanded upon. A joke about Okochan being asked to pick up the pace only to take Mettaton to the top of a mountain was replaced for Jay withstanding the torture that is Lizzie's singing. The biggest part that was changed was Mettaton and Lizzie debating about what to do. Originally Ophelia was using her psychic powers to let everyone communicate so Corrin couldn't hear them, but it just took forever for them to say the same thing they said now.
The only thing of value that was lost was this one exchange:
Mettaton:"Can we trust Yuuya? He seems to really like Corrin."
Ophelia proceeds to scan him with her psychic powers and it reads:
Has gun on his person, professional backstabber, has witnessed double digit murders, saves 90% of his money into Porycoin.
Ophelia: "Yeah I'd say he's pretty trustworthy."
The porycoin bit aged like wine as 99% of cryptocurencies turned out to be scams. But I think it would've added to the joke, that had to be cut...
Anyway if your wondering where the buffer is now I'm working on the page before the page where they finally enter the gym.
*As I said above about this being one of the last pages made, I added in Lizzie noticing the love triangle. She isn't so oblivious that she wouldn't notice Jay's erm, skin condition. But it's a while before she does something about it, so desperately trying to pretend it doesn't exist while she focuses on more important things it is!
*What is this, a reference to the barbie movie jail meme? Looking it up, god that movie came out in 2023, and I'm guessing I drew this page within 6 months of it. It's hard to tell for sure since Kirita deletes the created on date when I save. So if I do something as simple as filling in a spot of color I missed...
*So disability pride month was last month. But alas I posted this page in August, I was this close to being able to make this meme.
Ophelia looks at Ava: "It's disability pride month, you know what that means."
Ava:"I should steal from more disabled people?"
Sussie crying: "Ava no!"
Ava: "I'm an equal opportunity thief. If they got food, I don't care who it is."
