Roe Ref — Description

I just today realized I never posted this on its own...

This is a character design I made for myself a while ago. Started back in 2022 and finished it apparently in 2023 (I thought it was 2024 but I guess not!)

I really like the headshot and the human design. I haven't used them yet, but I think about them from time to time. At some point I'll find purpose for them. Their name is meant to be a play on words. Roe being like the eggs... and eggs being the things that from which new life hatches. They're supposed to be like a physical embodiment of "Life" or I suppose maybe like a god of life. This might change slightly over time, but I like it for now.

They have a horse form because I just really wanted a horse oc. (Horses are cool.) They can also take on other forms I think but these two are their most commonly used.
There originally was going to be a spring, summer, winter, and fall version of their coat in horse form... and maybe I'll revisit that idea at some point, but it took so long to finish just this one version (because I couldn't decide what I wanted to do for them color and marking wise) that I decided against it for now and that I'd add it in later.
