Description
Mixer Drones — Standing up to 10 meters tall, they tower over ordinary butchers like titans among insects. They move on thin but durable multi-jointed limbs resembling spider legs, which emit a metallic crack with every step. On their back is mounted a massive rotating Mixer-Bunker — a cylindrical black bowl with internal blades and teeth.
These drones operate inside holding chambers, where raw material accumulates before being fed onto the conveyors. They collect bodies and throw them into their mixer, where simultaneous mechanical and chemical processing takes place. A single drone can grind up to ten bodies at once — their screams and blows are instantly drowned out by the roar of the bunker. Long manipulator arms with hooks seize victims and lift them into the air. Then the drone drops the bodies into the spinning mixer, where the teeth and rotating blades begin to shred them. Inside, bones, flesh, and blood are churned together. Sometimes chemical reagents are added from built-in reservoirs to accelerate the breakdown of tissues.
The mass turns into a thick substance, and once the mixer is filled, the drone leaves the holding chamber and approaches the main conveyor lines. It connects to the pumping devices, after which the contents of the bunker are sucked into the pipes and sent to enrichment tanks.
The drone’s legs are thin, yet able to withstand colossal loads, leaving deep dents in the metal floor as they move. The mixer spins with a dreadful hum, creating the impression of an endless meat grinder. Sometimes fragments of bone or drops of blood burst out, splattering around.
