I won't say much as I'm less articulate than the many other artists who've spoken well on this topic, except this: the purpose of art is human expression.
If you have ever been deeply moved or thought deeply because of a piece of art made a year ago or a 100yrs ago, you've reached through the veil of time to briefly touch upon another's soul. AI programs sever this connection; to who do I connect to when I cannot see the imprints of another person's life upon their medium (what they read, watched, heard, felt), but the emulsified and repackaged pulp of thousands now bereft of any life or love? For what purpose does it serve, save capital, for someone to effortlessly, near thoughtlessly, strip all that way?
