Monarch Caterpillar — Description

A monarch caterpillar on a milkweed. They're certainly an intriguing looking worm all striped like that, not sure which side is the front or back. And through evolution they turn into the most beautiful orange monarch butterfly to see. Worms are so strange. I saw a few of the worms but didn't get to see them turn into butterflies. They must've been sneaky about it for we saw a few butterflies flying around, tho' there wasn't much of a chance of me capturing them on camera like that.
