Gray Treefrog — Description

Took these photos on May 13th. Just now getting around to posting them. XD
Okay so I'm pretty sure, not entirely sure, but pretty sure I stressed this little one out. How and why you may wonder? Well I know it may look all fine and possibly happy in these photos--as happy as any little frog might look that is--but it turns out the gray treefrog (or so it says on the internet) like to bask in the sun.
And of course what to I go do? I pick it up after taking a bunch of pictures of it just to put it in a small dish pan with a small amount of water to clean it off, all because I wanted some pictures of it without the grass bits and whatnots on it.
I did feel really, really bad afterwards when I found out that they would just sit in the sun and bask in it, I mean, hey I totally understand. I am after all a sun worshiper myself, or so I like to claim even though I know too much sun is too much sun and will seek shade when it's too hot, so in good reason I'm a sun worshiper is what I'm saying, really.
Well anyway before I knew they like to sun themselves I had tried to put it back where I thought it came from--under our steps. It clearly didn't want to go under and hop instead onto a stump near the steps because obviously it wasn't done sunning itself and there I had gone and got it wet. I think they were having a day, I mean, it stayed on the stump throughout the day.
I apologize to them for picking them up and interrupting their sun basking time. Welp, I haven't seen the little frog since so I only hope they're chilling somewhere nice and happy away from me. XD
