02/08 - Finally I make my favorite character of the Marvel Universe - RICTOR!! He's one of them characters for me that I've been wanting to do for a very long time, but for fear of screwing it up, haven't done. I can say that I am very happy with what I've done. I had a little trouble with the casting, as with most of my projects, but I did check with another awesome Rictor fan and came to the conclusion that Gael Garcia Bernal would do fine.Recently I've been obsessed with the whole Age of Apocalypse storyarc - So this is probably the first of many of that theme lol. For this manip - I was immensely inspired by a sketch done by Cesar-Hernandez of AOA-Rictor. I hope I did his sketch justice. His work is so awesome, and with this I plead him to make more, cuz I love every piece and we need more Rictor!

I think Jake managed what Rictor did: to look hot and handsome at a young age (instead of "cute"). And I believe he has the right amount of muscle mass.
Gael might have been good ten years ago, but now this kid is a better option (in my opinion).
