This piece wasn't initially planned, but while looking for reference pictures of Jessica Rabbit for my first portrait, I came across a figurine of her in this attire made by Enesco for the Disney Showcase line. I loved how she looked in it and wanted to draw her in it. Not bad for a first attempt. I like to think that this is what Jessica Rabbit wears when she's not performing. Her classic attire would certainly be her showcase dress but when she wants to get out and about and hang out with friends, companions, or lovers she'll just put together this look and out she goes. I think it would make sense, it certainly helps a well-known figure like her to be more conspicuous out in public... to an extent at least.
