This is the first of a few character highlights/portraits I'll be doing centered around Half-Life 2. If you've seen my last couple of deviations, you can probably tell I've been trying to get more and more comfortable with in-game lighting. I think I've finally gotten to a point where I understand it well enough to manipulate it to my liking, as seen here, where the map was originally completely lit as if it were noon.
