Draw This In Your Style - Brenda — Description

Sometimes, the hardest part of creating art is overcoming the fear of trying. The fear of making mistakes, the fear of not being good enough, or simply the fear of stepping outside our comfort zone.
But every artist starts somewhere, and every little step forward deserves to be celebrated. Maybe that's what being a Points Queen means. I think everyone can be a Points Queen.
Please don't laugh at meeeee! XD I did my very best, with a little help from my friends with the pose and details but seriously, I put a lot of effort into this, and it was actually so much fun!
Being surrounded by so many incredible artists (yes, YOU reading this are one of them!) has always made me feel a little insecure about trying to draw, but at the same time, you've all inspired me so much! I breathe art here every single day, and I would never have started the 100millionPOINTS project if I didn't absolutely love all the wonderful creations shared by this community.
As you all know, I'm not an artist. I've never really done this before! But after almost 16 years of living and breathing the 100millionPOINTS project, apparently, I've finally learned how to hold a pencil, use an eraser, make some lines, and even add color lol.
Things I've learned:
Coloring can be ultra dificult specially the skins. It feels like one move can ruin it all.
Hair lineart is pure hell.
Eyes and hands are as dificult as the tales says.
It's so fun and it made me relax so much.
Inspirations for this version of Brenda (or me):
- Sense, the super long haired character from the anime Frieren, which I absolute love.
- The Healer from an oooooooooooold game I've used to play in my even older iPad, Epic Raiders. It was so fun and important to me back in my teen's. Now it's removed from App Store.
Materials I've used? Oh, the super cheap markers from China and also very cheap counterfeit Pin manga pens I've found online. And a super cool white pen for light details!!!
This is a little reminder to believe in yourself, embrace your creativity, and never let fear stop you from trying something new...
... And speaking of new challenges... tomorrow, something exciting is coming! Get your creative spirits ready, because a new art contest is just around the corner! This deviation title kinda says it all, but I can't wait to formally announce it tomorrow.
