His father was part of a posse of cats who would steal prey and mess with pets, he wanted to be just like him. So he joined a group, and had some wild fun, though things suddenly got taken too far. So he became a renegade, and left the group. Unable to stay in that area he started traveling around, hopping trains and other transport sometimes just long walks. He would occasionally stop in areas and hang around causin some trouble and kick up some dirt, but would leave after. Wasn't till he settled down at a ranch that had quite a bit of cats and they sure were wild. The day before he decided to leave he had swooped in and saved a gal in trouble, and boy he fell hard for her. He decided to stick around longer in the area protecting Damsel from any more distress, and decided to stick around the area. He sometimes leaves, but seems to always come back waitin for his Damsel.
