Description
so finally I could render a Vue 7 metacloud in a relatively nice environmentAs you can see, the metacloud is much softer than in Vue 6; I used a spectral cloud material so I could edit more features.
Another thing; if you have Vue 6, you can buy the trees I used on Cornucopia3D (recommended, there are so many cool stuff there
rendered in Vue 7 Infinite

Nice - you have to look very close to see that it's not real. Vue7 looks like a very cool software indeed... who knows, maybe some day...

aww you really should try it!!! That way we can make a lil deal; I teach you how to use Vue, you teach me how to use Poser!!
I think one of the greatest problems with my work is the lack of characters...

I very much like it! Love Japanese and Chinese architecture... One thing that stands out is the roofing material. They would have used round tile roofing, made of clay or ceramics, not today's composition roofing. I love the environment and sense of scale!

well the modeling part just takes time. and the right program. once you get started on it its just a matter of your creativity to get what you want done.

well i use lightwave right now cause thats what i was taught in school, but if your starting from scratch i'd recomment either 3ds max or maya. if you use lightwave you need lots of plug ins. the other 2 are really good straight out of the box

I've heard that LW is too hard to start with...
my trial version of 3ds max has expired, though I haven't really used it

Is there a list of what extra trees are included in Vue 7 (without buying that huge package that has ALL of them [link] ) since although I'm considering getting all of them when I DO get Vue 7 (when the hell are they going to bring Vue 7 complete out?) if the very best ones are included, I might not need to as I use the plant editor a lot.
Anyway, the scene looks incredibly realistic, and the clods do look more natural too

I ran through the plant collection in Vue 7. I'm not 100% sure, but as I saw, yeah it has all plants of the mega bundle . But I checked the comparative charts on e-on software's website, and it says Vue 7 Infinite has 160+ plant species, while Complete has only 70+. So if you wanna have the mega bundle, you'll have to purchase it on Cornucopia (or you can buy Vue 7 Infinite...great tool
)
thank you ...lol yeah these metaclouds do look different

Hmm, part of me really wants to get Vue 7 infinite instead, but I'm not sure if I can afford the upgrade :hhm: it's almost a smuch as Buying Vue 6 all over again

well I don't know anything about Vue 7 Complete's release, but if you buy Complete plus the plants for +$200, you pay almost as much as you would pay for V7I.
