Ah, yes, idk what happened, but I just started watching sports animes and Free! and Kuroko no basket just took over my life for like a year and a half...

Now I have a much heathier relationship with the swim boys 
I even managed to take the six posters I have of them off my walls...

Still sleep with my free! Blanket tho...

Aw, that's how my friend was
She was adopted into a Mormon family, and her mom was a crazy, evil, hateful woman, so when she was around we'd just talk about "shows" and never say the word anime or any Japanese names ._.

But I kinda understand parents not wanting their kids to watch anime because there are a lot of morally unsound animes out there
But not all of them are like that
So I'm just really careful about what I watch now
Because I've learned
There are a lot of bad animes...

Oh, she's doing much better now because her mom kicked her out of the house once she turned 18, so she doesn't have to deal with that haggard old witch anymore...

I've been watching a Gundam anime called iron blooded orphans (highly recommend btw), and on Hulu it's says it's for mature audiences only and I know it's just because there's a lot of violence and the occasional female in their underwear, but I always freak out when the characters are with their love interests cause I dunno what could go down

And my mom decided she was gonna start watching it right at the scene where the woman who doesnt wear a lot of clothes starts aggressively making out with her husband for what seemed like all eternity

It was very hard to watch 
Especially with my mom there
And not because they were making out, but because I was afraid that might lead to other things...

See, that's why I usually just watch slice of life animes or whatever cause those are like the tamest ones out there

Plus, I can't deal with a lot of gore
Like watching Wolf's rain made me wanna barf
And even with iron blooded orphans, the don't really show people getting mangled, they just show the blood for the most part

ButdefinitelynotasmuchbloodasinWolf'srain

And I never watch supernatural stuff, so that rules out like 90% of all anime ever if you combine that with the "child porn"

Yea, I tried to get my dad to watch hetalia, and I told him SPECIFICALLY axis powers

And then he went and started watching one of the movies and he thought it was dumb and then he never watched the actual anime ._.
