Yeah, dA has been really good to me. I think the people who left kinda had their own problems and just projected it onto dA.
Maybe i was just lucky & missed the assholes on here. Or maybe it's because I'm not super possessive of my art or trying to sell it.

If someone uses I'm generally like meh whatever. (However i think i'd be pretty pissed if a major company used it for their advertising without my permission - I'd be like 'dude i want in on this money cow!')
dA is good though! Some of the artists i used to watch have left BUT there's a shit tonne of new artists rising so it's not lacking in inspiration!

Aw maaaaan.... I have been there. It is definitely a good experience to stop you from getting too dependent on the internet. I finally have internet, a scanner & my deviantart password so i can upload arts again!!!!!
